Nice!

I like the intro, it's got a really cool feel and then the kick/hat's are good too!

After that when you got the main melody going it was really cool and some of the extras sounded really good, they reminded me of a great old game called Tyrian, it sounded like they belonged in it so +1 for nostalgia!

It never get's really big, but that's my only complaint Excellent work!!!

Yeah, that'z what I thought too. I was kinda just wanna to make a small trance song so I just made this in like an hour or 2. Yeah, I had this feelin' this song sounded like somethin' on Newgrounds so that'z where my nostalgia kicked in. Maybe I'll make a rap for this cuz listenin' to this again, it has a hip hop feel to this also. Thanx for reviewin'!!!

Nice!!!

I don't see why this only has a 2, it's simple but I really like the flow you've got. . .
I'd request a fuller song, but I really like what you have so far!
Did you get all the percussion samples and stuff I sent you, I think I heard some of em. . .

Nice

Pretty much what I said in the other review I wrote for this. . .

I like it, maybe a heavier kick, it seemed a little lax for hip-hop. . .
Still waiting for a lyricised version, I'd offer to do a verse or the chorus but currently I have not even a decent mic so I can't help you. . .

Stavier responds:

Yeah, the kick probably could've been heavier, huh?? But, I think this is good enough. I will make the lyrics today, but I don;t know if I'll be able to start practicin' today. Yeah, the only mic I got is on the mac cuz I don;t have one for my laptop yet. Thanx for reviewin'.

Nice Remix!

Really love the original, and you did a good job. I don't really like the "talking" bass you have, I don't really think it fits in very well with the mood of the song. . . .
It's a calm/low energy song and it just seems to conflict with it a little bit. . .

I like the way you glitched up the original melody, that was good, and your drops and everything were good.

The ending was also good, I liked it too.

So overall it was pretty good and I really liked it!

Nice!

I liked the progression in this, and the instrumentation was great!
Its got a nice chill atmosphere (don't really know how house-y it is but I don't take points for incorrect categories)

I'd have switched up the melody a little bit more, it helps keep the song more interesting and it's generally easier than adding a bunch more layers and keeps the song moving, that said, for having a fairly repetitive melody you added a bunch of variations and other effects and instruments and it was really interesting all the way through!

Great job, I really enjoyed it!

Haha! Thanks, I can honestly say I made this song in maybe three, four hours, and I was kinda thinking along the lines of Kaskade when I made it. It was actually an experiment at first, but then I ended up making it for a friend. I only used V-Staion, Z3ta, Nexus for the piano, and NI Massive for the pads and the sub bass. So it was pretty simple, but the automations made a huge difference.

Excellent!

I liked your intro, it set up a the mood for the song perfectly, it had energy but not so much to make the drop seem like just a small increase in force.

Filthy dubstep bassline, I liked it, but it felt a little too distorted to me, it didn't really have enough force to it. The instrument was very powerful, but it didn't have push. . . I don't know if I'm making any sense here, but basically it was plenty loud, but I didn't like the sound range it had, it seemed the treble part of it stuck out more than the deep bass.

All the sound effects were great and I really liked everything else about this song Excellent work!

Best of luck on the contest!

Great

I really like it and it has a great feeling/mood to it.

My one and only complaint would be that your melody was pretty much the same all the way through, you changed the instrumentation quite a lot, but the actual melody was repeated over and over. You might be surprised how much better even just one variation on your main melody can keep the song in motion all the way through.

Other than that excellent work!

Stavier responds:

I totally get where you're goin' at. I was kinda rushed to make this song a little, but yeah. My next RnB song imma make might be better. Variation seems to be my one problem, but surprisingly, some of my new songs are startin' to get completely in tune now. Thanx for the review :)

Pretty good

I don't generally like funk music, I guess I'm not really a funky person. . .

Anyway, pretty good song, and I can tell you worked hard on it.
The bass could've been varied up, it was the same pretty much all the way through.
And on the whole the song was pretty repetitive. .

Still, good work, just not really my beef.

Omega

Stavier responds:

Thanx, I know what you mean by repetitive, it did get like that after awhile. The bass was also repetitive too. Thanx again for reviewin'.

Awesome!!!

I really like it, it's got a nice flow to it that you don't normally see in dubstep.

I don't quite know how dubby it is, but then again eskmo is dubstep too, it doesn't have to be filthy. . .

I really can't critique too much, it's got a really neat mood to it and the higher and lower melodies go together really well, the back and forth between them rocks!

Excellent work overall (again)

Omega

Cool

I like the chill feel at the intro, and I agree with ladders down there, that part at the beginning was strange, but I just liked it for some reason. .
The guitars are great!

There is a spot or two that sounds just a little imperfect and a few dissonant in one or two places too, but overall I really like it!

It also got a little repetitive, but you did switch it up a little to keep it from getting boring. Though I'd still try to change up the main melody once or twice to keep it SPICY!

I could see tripping out, hearing this song, and seeing the blue air, and the purple sky!

Omega

Stavier responds:

Thanx for the detailed review. I'm very glad you liked the guitars cuz when i posted this song earlier, I got a review sayin' it was off so I fixed it. & ya, strangeness seems to be within the song :D I'm pretty sure I know watcha mean when you say some parts were dissonant. Also, when the solo was there & that synth kicked in around the middle or watever, the synth, I'm glad you noticed I switched it up & added that for taste. Thanx again for reviewing.

Just writing music, I hope to produce someday, so check out my stuff will ya?
