Nice!

It's cool to hear this with some of F-777's style and some other things which is why collabing is awesome!

I liked the intro, it brought in the mood and melody well.
The background arp you used seemed just a tad louder than it should be, it tended to drown out the melody (which sounds like an F-777 synth idk. . .) which since it's just a repeating arp is less musically interesting than the main melody.

Other than that, drums, melody and pretty much everything was good!

Great work, and I'm jealous of lucky you getting to work with F-777!
Looking forward to the full version,
Omega

GrayZ responds:

The back ground arp was jesses :P The synth was mine, just we haven't mastered it AT ALL. Which he will be mad at because I think i was supposed to master it:P

Thanks for the awesome review :)

Hey, don't knock sytrus!

Lol anyway I liked the intro, it was a little simple but I liked the sound it had.
I liked your "tease" of the bassline in the intro too, that was good.

The main bassline was a little bass-less it seemed overpowered by the other instruments you had going. In dubstep your bass is usually the leading and most powerful instrument and it felt a little weak.

I like the rest of the instrumentation though and you've got a really neat and unique style of dubstep I really like what you've got, just wanted to give some advice!

(also I think you are getting an unnecessary amount of hate from not having a massive bass, this song deserves far better than the ranking it has)

DLBeezy responds:

Hah. Yeah, this song was made in probably 25 minutes or less. I didn't really put that much time into it. I usually just to these to experiment with different styles. But thank you for your review. I really appreciate it.

I like it!

In case you hadn't noticed I use dark themes a fair amount in my music so this goes right into my style.

Got a question, what did you use for the bass guitar? I really liked the sound of it.

I think you had some issues with clipping right at the middle, you just had too much sound, either try compressing your track or turn down the master to keep from having that happen.

Nice work thoug I really like it!

Stavier responds:

Yeah, I've noticed that in your songs so it is good you checked out this song. For the bass guitar, I actually didn't add FX's to it at all, but the BPM of the song made it go faster, which I think this song is 135, cuz this was only 120 BPM, it'd be to slow. Also, I added another bass that's not a guitar so it probably made the bass guitar sound better. I'm pretty sure I kno watcha mean by the compressin'. The bass guitar did get overlapped & probably cuz of the synth at 2:03 since it gets louder. Usually I never mess with the master vol. & if I do, I put it up more. Thanx for the review!!!

8-bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if everyone else gives you hate for it, it gives this a great sound!

I liked the bass progression, but it was a little harsh sounding for my tastes.
Which you did smooth a bit with the strings. Which I really liked BTW

Overall it was good! a little simple but I enjoyed it.

Binaerpilot responds:

I don't care if people don't like it either, because at least I think it's cool. It's great that you do to. Thanks for the review!

Excellent!

I thought this was either going to be a lame super sped up techno cover or some horrid attempt to rap over a famous beat. I was pleasantly surprised.

For the most part I really like your vocals and lyrics and I'm really looking to the rest, are you gonna try to do some fast rapping for the next part?

Your vocals yeah, like you said a 7$ mic, it do make a difference, you sound good enough I'd offer to buy you one if I had some spare cash, it's that legit.

I'd try to avoid triple rhyming, it gives it a bit of an odd cadence. . . still it sounds good, just a suggestion.

Anyway, I really like it man! excellent!

WeDoExist responds:

Nice.
That's awesome feedback.
I'm glad you enjoyed it man.
I'm working on getting up the money for good boards an such.
Might aswell finish my mixtape first though.
And yea.. I'm actually gonna be spitting fast with change ups for the next part.
Thanks =D!

Nice!

Excellent vocals, and it had a great bassline I agree with O-prime about that noise, it sounds out of key is why, if you built it in a synthmaker and you edited the pitch make sure you halve it, otherwise it ends up sounding out of tune or something. . .

Other than that, I really liked it and could see some radio quality rap to it!

Omega

Stavier responds:

I see watcha mean & I'll look into editin' this later. Yeah, the vocals again were my favorite so I'm glad you noticed that. Thanx for reviewin'

I like it!

Your intro had a few discords I think, but it sounded good.

The Drop was a little weak I don't really think the piano fit. . . But you did do a good job of varying the bassline a lot, that's really important for dubstep.

It got a little chaotic in the middle part and it was hard to find any beat, and the quote you repeated over and over again got a little annoying, the trick with that is to put it through a vocoder part of the time to vary the sound of it. . .

Ending wasn't too bad.

Overall I liked it, just try to have a little bit of a heavier bassline, it was a little weak for my tastes.

Omega

Stavier responds:

Alrighty, the beggin' will probably stay. I agree lookin' at this song that the beat it hard to find. Yeah, the drop was a little hard to do, but I couldn't find much to do with it. Yeah, the bassline is defintely what I worked on the most. The chaotic part I totally understand. I'll have to see if I have a vocoder effect cuz I don't know if I have that effect. The bassline, well, I'll try makin' a harder one next time. Next time when I do make a dubstep song, I hope for it to be with a mix of Trance. Thanx for the review.

I really like it!

Great work on this, it has a great ambient background feel to it, but it still manages to be epic too!

I could see this in some awesome FF cutscene or something, I think it's awesome and the vocals are great.

There was a great blend of styles, I heard some sounds that are definitely yours and some new things too.

Excellent work I can't find anything wrong with it!

Nice!

I liked the intro, it was pretty good and set up a good tone for the rest of the song.

When the beat dropped It wasn't as heavy as my ears wanted it to be, but then again, it is trance I just expected something a bit heavier.

You have some cool instruments and effects that I liked and it is a pretty cool song overall!

Honestly, with the drums and stuff it seemed more like it should be a techno song, but most of your leads were background leads as opposed to something a bit more "in your face" which is fine for trance, but just the way you built up the song, I felt like it would've been better suited in a heavier genre. . .

I liked it, and you kept it varied up a lot so it was interesting all the way through.
Good work, I'd really like to hear a sweet techno remix of this.

Omega

Omnivore responds:

Yeah, I used a different recording system for the mastering. But hey, it is Psy-Trance, I can't really put it in another Genre without there actually being a Psy-Trance tag..

Zelda FTW!

Intro was good, and it introduced the melody well.
The beat was really hard to find, which was kinda a good thing, it gave a feeling of drifting, but it was hard to follow.

I like the drop, it was fantastic.

Your melody progression sounded out of key with the original though. . like you were hitting (or not hitting) sharps and flats that you should/shouldn't be :\

The synth also seemed a little high pitched, it could've been a little less eeeeeeeeeeeee like, but not too bad. . . .

Also, I would've liked more dubstep-ness, it seemed to be more techno than dubstep. . . If you want I've been using some great free synths I used em in this song: http://www.newgrounds.co m/audio/listen/414333
If you like em I can send em your way, it helps to have some good synthesisers!

Still great work, you may have inspired me to do a zelda remix, so I'll let you know if/when I finish it!
